Anxiety and General Counselling
Everyone can benefit from counselling. Broadly speaking, counselling can be a positive experience where you gain the opportunity to talk through your issues and feel heard. By doing this people often feel relieved in not having to shoulder the problem alone and find a sense of clarity.
During our time together I will support you to explore your issues and assist you to gain knowledge and develop techniques to apply to your daily life situation with confidence.
Life Events and Loss
Experiencing the loss of someone or something precious can be deeply challenging. Seeking support during such times is a courageous step, as it becomes your first step to cope. Like you, during my lifetime I have had multiple losses. Working in a natural and nurturing way has enabled me to cope then find my own pathway to then thrive.
I am deeply committed to helping people navigate grief and loss and will support you to discover your natural way forward.
Environmental Distress, Anxiety and Loss
(Eco-Anxiety)
As we move deeper into uncertain climatic futures we are continually witnessing and experiencing more extreme impacts from climate change (e.g. increased impacts from bushfires, heatwaves, droughts, floods, sea level rise, cyclones, ocean acidification etc). This can lead to anxiety about what lies ahead, a condition now acknowledged as ‘eco-anxiety’. Help with this requires specialised knowledge, please see further details here.
Compassion Fatigue and Burnout
Caring and passionate people often overlook themselves when we engage in meaningful work or volunteering. Prolonged or high stress roles can increase your risk of compassion fatigue and burnout.
I will help you reflect on your current situation and explore sustainable strategies and techniques that will help you manage your stress.
Resilience Coaching
Resilience is more than simply having the skills and strength to bounce back. Infact there are a whole range of techniques that resilient people typically use. In NN&R we will look at your current situation, identify your associated resilience goals and then match resilience techniques so that you can then use them in life.
